We are based in London and mainly handle cases in the London area (including in the Principal Registry of the Family Division of the High Court - the main court for Central London).We may also be able to act for you if you live or work abroad or have a family law problem involving a foreign situation. We handle international divorce cases where there is some connection with England - we are familiar with inter-jurisdictional problems and are happy to assist where we can, but we do not give advice about the laws of other countries.

The firm was established in 1991 by David du Pré a former barrister who was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1980. He is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and the International Society of Family Law. Overall he has more than 30 years experience of divorce work. His associate Gaye Osborne, who also has considerable experience of divorce work, was admitted as a solicitor in 1982 and is a member of Resolution and the Law Sociey's Family Lawyers Panel.

We have a broad client base but only act for privately paying individuals. Our charges are competitive and we have a reduced fee for the first hour's advice without obligation to instruct us.
